YouTube History & Playlist Quick Remove — Chrome Extension

This policy describes what data the extension accesses, how it is handled, and your privacy rights. This extension is completely free and collects no personal data.

1. Data stored locally

All data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. Nothing is ever sent to any server.

2. Data we do NOT collect

history_toggle_off

No browsing history

We never access, collect, or transmit your browsing history or YouTube watch history.

person_off

No personal information

No sign-in required. We never collect names, emails, or any identifying information.

cloud_off

No remote servers

This extension makes zero network requests. All processing happens entirely inside your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.

block

No other websites

The extension only runs on YouTube history and playlist pages. It does not access any other website.

3. Third-party services

This extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, tracking, or external APIs. It is entirely self-contained.

We never sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.

4. Extension permissions

storage — saving your theme preference and icon color locally.
scripting — injecting the delete buttons into YouTube pages and detecting YouTube's theme.
youtube.com host access — the extension only runs on YouTube history and playlist pages to add quick-remove buttons.

5. Data retention and deletion

All data is stored locally in your browser. Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all stored data. You can also clear the extension's data at any time through your browser's extension settings.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and significant changes will be noted in the extension's Web Store listing.
